So I just did the quiz thing above. It sounds pretty good, but I think the quiz basically ends up as whatever you think of yourself, rather than an objective assessment (ok, so maybe that’s pretty obvious when it’s a random quiz on the internet). Also, these quizzes seem to get by on flattery. For example you’ll never see one of these:

But perhaps it’s for the better. Maybe people will strive to be whatever their quiz says they are. It would be cool to have a better way of learning what you are, but it’s probably not possible on the internet.

hey, thanks! I’ve actually had people try to get me to add color to my site, but I refuse. It actually was a step for me when I decided I was willing to have a color prof pic instead of a black and white one.
I figure that if my words are interesting enough, my background color shouldn’t really matter, and if my words aren’t interesting enough - why are you visiting my site in the first place?
