, go to account settings and then privacy and you can either turn off messages or set it to messages from friends only.

To disable email alerts

, go to account settings and then email settings and you can turn off email alerts for messages.

We’re trying to make sure that we have everything necessary to make sure that spam, bullying, and sexual solicitation don’t happen. For a few weeks, we’ll be collecting data on these three things and seeing how best to create a filter to prevent these things from ever happening. We’re especially concerned with sexual solicitation, and if you have any interesting and new ideas about how we can prevent that, let me know. I’m working on a few right now =).

Also, the person I was going to play tennis with last friday got

struck by lightening

!! But thankfully he was ok. He sent me an email saying he got struck by lightening and was hospitalized, but he still wants to play! I like him already, he sounds like he’s competitive =).
