), I described an idea for a new way to produce power. The idea was a blimp filled with helium with a tether long enough for it to sit in the jet stream. There would be windmills attached to it to convert the wind energy into electricity. Here is a highly scientific diagram from the newsletter, published on January 25th, 2005:
At the time I thought it might work, but I probably didn’t have the resources to build it. Just recently however, I came across this:

. As you can clearly see, they stole my idea. Sure they came up with a more efficient design by making the blimp itself into the turbine, but I think if I talked to enough of my smart friends they could have helped me figure it out.
Everyone told me I was crazy at the time, but clearly I was crazy like fox!

Damn. You should hit them up with a lawsuit, the evidence is clearly on your side. Exhibit A makes fantastic courtroom material.

I think yours is cooler because of the visible electricity crawling down the tether. There would be a 24-7 fried migratory bird feast going on at the power station!

aw drat!

Wow, that has got to be rough. Are you going to persue any legal action against the perpetrators?
-

Time to bust out the lawsuits?
