I just paid…
45$ in library fines. I completely forgot about the whole borrow/return policy for 1.5 months apparently. I kind of went on a Noir streak, reading a collection of stories from Richard Matheson (of I Am Legend fame), Miami Noir, and Brooklyn Noir. The last two were collections of short stories with settings in different neighborhoods of each city.

Library fees seem to have outpaced inflation. When I was your age, fines were capped at a nickel.

nah. under all the stress of school i forgot i had something due and then i get a freakin email saying its overdue. i was pissed off royally
