Also, my sister is coming to visit me this Friday!!! I got us tickets to the Producers on Friday, and it’s her 21st birthday on Monday. She’s also going to help me get a good haircut and pick out some new clothes so I don’t look like a homeless person with respect to the mostly well-dressed New Yorkers.

RYC: So I’ve already looked into that, you can see it on a post further down the page. The airline regulations are kind of contradictory– carriers can only be 9″ tall at most, but the cat must be able to stand up comfortably inside. Most full-grown cats are taller than 9″. So now we’re trying to decide if we wanna risk it (I know I’ve seen cats travel as carry-on before that must have been “too tall”) and hope that the airline people are lenient, or try to fly her as baggae (and hope the weather cooperates– there’s temperature restrictions for that), or what. (sorry for the long explanation)

No, I don’t really live in Kunming. I’ve been there several times before, but only to switch planes/trains. (My dad’s hometown is in Yunnan, the province that Kunming is the capital of.) It has a nice train station and an equally nice airport… the bus and taxi service isn’t THATbad either… =T
I really live in the USA, but my metro is filled with weirdos… xP
